Really bad form Shaq. You don’t invite the MVP winner to an interview and then tell him that you don’t think he should have won. If you have a problem with the selection the sports writers picked, bring it up with them. Jokic was very deserving, that should have been the focus.

As a believer that Shai should’ve won I think Shaq shouldn’t have said what he did but I don’t think he meant it that negatively. If it was anyone other than Jokic it would’ve been disrespectful but he is just being honest. I think the Thunder being a smaller team have been extremely underrated and everyone is in for a RUDE awakening this playoff season. I think the Thunder win against the Celtics and it will be a 6 game series unless Chet underperforms offensively.

Some players build their legacy in a team that drafted and believed in them, others join Kobe to build their legacy. I’d be upset too if i was known as the second best player in every team I’ve won trophies with.
Shaq should be taken off the air and TNT should be ashamed that they’ve been allowed so much power to present these awards, and they have all been mired with mispronunciation, personal feelings from the crew (Shaq/kenny).
NBA on TNT should count only as an entertainment show, not a basketball analysis/breakdown show
