The Boston Celtics defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 125-117, as they improve to 39-12 on the season. Kristaps Porzingis led the Celtics with 31 points (13-19 FG) as Derrick White (21 points, 5 3PT, 6 rebounds, 7 assists) and Jayson Tatum (20 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists) totaled 41 points. Saddiq Bey led Atlanta with 25 points as Trae Young tallied 20 points and 10 assists in the loss. The Hawks move to 22-29 on the season.

Tough loss. I thought we competed throughout up until that 4th quarter, and that small little run at the end was too late obviously. I mean short handed obviously without murray but still some constant mistakes defensively, over committing leads to a lot of open threes especially against this boston team that simply doesnโt miss from three. Feels like we went somewhat cold in that 2nd half though, from the perimeter at times. I think the biggest issue though was defensively which has been the story pretty much all year. Not much else to say, boston is just a really good team. Now the trade deadline is tomorrow so iโm very curious to see what landry fields decides to do. Some speculation around murray but i really have no clue at all. I just hope it benefits us overall. I guess we will have to wait and find out. Now off to philly friday night, gotta find a way to bounce back. #TrueToAtlanta
