Hear me out, the jump on the corner 3 is actually genius: if you stick your hands in front of the rim the shooter can’t look right at the rim while they shoot.

you know, I bet Kornet jumping up and blocking visibility to the rim probably drops the 3 point percentage a little bit. Not a lot, but probably some. Not a horrendous idea necessarily for someone who can’t get any closer. Although, it probably makes the chance of getting the rebound go down a lot because he’s too busy not getting position and paying attention to the defensive movement.

I LOVE all the people defending Kornet, but fun fact: The guy who shot the 3 pointers TWICE, was Marcus Smart. He is 22% from 3 point range. 22%. Kornet could have done a cartwheel and the same thing would have happened and people would still say he’s “reinventing” defense 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
