That’s not even true btw. What players have an issue with is the over-sensationalised and over the top bashing that comes with the critique of the game. Questioning their heart, toughness, desire. That’s their gripe

@Kip Smithers What is being said about Durant is the cold hard truth. And he can’t handle it. He joined a Championship team who also had a 70+ win season and beat him, and that 100% should be taken into consideration when speaking on his legacy. It is one of the most heartless moves in NBA history that a player of his level has ever done.

@StillGrowing exactly. I love draymonds podcasts it’s such a breath of fresh air no negativity being spread. The only drama that came out of it was the kd stuff which got completely miss understood by everyone and other than that it’s been a class act show. Most of the guys on the volume are pretty good tbh. Idk if you watched anyone else on their but they got a lot of guys

Unpopular opinion:
I like that the players have the ability to respond to the talking heads in the same (disingenuous) manner that the media stalwarts have always been able to. I grew up with columnists, beat writers and people who never dribbled or caught a pass professionally controlling the narrative. I’m good with the chaos
