No emotions/empathy reading skills the rest of the crew. The tears and eyes of Luka was clearly out of deep hurt. He envisioned retiring as a mav champion and have a statue and surpassing Dirk as all time greatest maverick. He is an emotional guy who loved his safe space in Dallas and just bought a new house. And on top of all that (even though of course money is and never will be his concern but) missing out on 120 million dollars tax free is πβ¦.. especially with all the other factors combined β οΈ and duh, obviously he is happy and grateful to be a laker no one is questioning thatβ¦ but if he could choose to still be a mav with mark cuban and no Nico of course he obviously wouldβve chosen that.
