Rn Zion is no doubt in the best shape of his nba career rn. Sources said he came into this season at 295. He lost 25 pounds since December 9. That means he’s at 270. The lowest weight he’s been in his career.

Im sorry, zion is good, but 23/6/5 averages (which are good numbers) are not anything to be overly afraid of. I’ve seen too many good defenses lock down/limit one dimensional players too many times in 7 game series when teams have more time to gameplan defensively. Hell, giannis has even been haulted and limited in certain matchups over the years….and he’s better than zion. The pelicans are a good, not great team and could win a series or two if the matchups fall in their favor, but i cant see them in the west finals. Their outside shooting is too weak and in todays game, if they are bricking outside shots and the other team gets hot from deep, it will be hard to overcome larger deficits.
